A Hidden Painting

This painting is actually the bottom of the wine barrel I am currently working on. It's my "signature". Because the majority of the barrel is composed of women, I had to let my wild side out a little here with one of my favorite compositions, the wolf. Bet you couldn't guess that with my website name being "paintingwolf" and all. :)

  1. I was going to gloat about having dodged a bullet. I was curious about the kids and found your photo in the paper from your skateboard project -- and I didn't even recognize you, or believe it was you until I matched the names in the caption to the people. And that was 3 years ago.

Suddenly I am just sad that the slim, cute little girl with the good morals has died and been replaced by obesity, Indian mysticism and booze barrels.

I would tell you about my life, adventures, and the lady who gave me reason to start being more careful, but it's none of your business and you would think I was bragging.

I'll just say that sometimes I still miss the life that we had in that Anaheim apartment. Every time I fly into Fullerton, I see the place as I make the turn to base, and remember honking a "K" on the horn when I drove past on the cloverleaf.

But that was a long time ago, and I'm glad that I didn't have to watch you evolve into what you have become.

By the way, if you remember Lorena, she died on 5 MAY 2009, from stomach cancer. She is buried in the Clinton (UT) city cemetery. Whatever kind of stuff you're into, she deserves your prayers.
