I created this illustration quite a while back, when I was doing the show circuit. I had never really wanted to sell it because it is such a sweet message. It was created several years ago then reworked in 2006. I love illustrating earthly creatures but as you can and will see, I love the imagined as well. Mermaids are lovely graceful creatures. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not. I guess it would depend on which side of the fishing pole you were on!
